Key Points to note:

  • All existing liabilities will be transferred along with the property.  This means any council and water rates and applicable land tax will be transferred into your name at settlement and our office will not order searches/prepare adjustments.
  • You are accepting the property on an ‘As Is’ basis. This means you are receiving the property in the same condition as it is prior to the settlement date.
  • AS IS – you acknowledge that the property is transferred in its current state of repair, latent defects, and conditions, and You have relied on your own independent advice, examinations and valuations. Further if a work order has been issued by Council or any other Government department it will be your responsibility to comply with such order after completion
